ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–In honor of 130 years in motorsports, Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) hosted a first ever Race Day at Mercedes-Benz Stadium featuring a watch party for the 2024 FORMULA 1 AWS GRAND PRIX DU CANADA. The event brought together customers, fans, MBUSA brand ambassadors and special guests, including Ludacris, Kirk Cousins, model Jess Hart, Eastside Golf founders Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl Cooper, and more, for an unforgettable celebration of motorsport and the Mercedes-AMG brand.



As the main race broadcast unfolded, guests enjoyed exclusive, live commentary from a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team host, providing unique insights into the world of Formula 1. Attendees were also treated to a special live performance from Ludacris, as well as an array of interactive experiences, such as Formula 1 simulators and a Mercedes-Benz car corral featuring rare pre-merger AMG and “young timer” Mercedes-Benz models. Legendary cars on display included the 2024 AMG GT 63, AMG GT2, AMG GT3, a priceless W 196 R “Monoposto” driven to Formula One World Championship victories by racing legend Juan Manuel Fangio in 1954 and 1955, Mercedes-AMG F1 W15 Formula 1 car, 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500 E 6.0 AMG “Hammer” and more – enabling guests to experience the unparalleled power and sophistication of Mercedes-AMG high performance vehicles.
