Serie A – Salernitana saves despite the blow, Cagliari relegates to B.

SERIE A SALERNITANA CAGLIARI – The curtain falls on Serie A. After the Scudetto won by Milan, the last verdict comes for the relegation. Nicola’s Salernitana loses soundly at home, 4-0 against Udinese but keeps the category. Cagliari does not go beyond 0-0 in Venice and relegates to Serie B after 6 years.

The Salernitana of mister Nicola collapses, after seven consecutive useful results, in the most delicate moment of the season. The first half for the grenades is a nightmare, three goals conceded and a wrong penalty for Udinese. The only hope to cultivate in the second half of the game was only a positive result from ‘Penzo’, given that the Friulians in the meantime also scored the fourth goal. A real psychodrama for the Sardinians, who do not go beyond 0-0 in Venice.
