TOP MIDFIELDERS – Luis Alberto, Calhanoglu, Kulusevski

They are top in the role. They maybe will be paid around 50-70 Fanta credits. One of the most expensive will be  Luis Alberto , after last year’s 6 goals and 14 assists. Kulusevski comes from a super season with 10 goals and 8 assists and has had the move to a big one like Juventus. He had no problems settling in but clearly, due to the turnover, Champions, Morata, and Dybala, he can rest from time to time. At Parma he was untouchable, the team revolved around him. Now he will have to put himself at the service of Ronaldo and Dybala. He will be among the highest-paid but also watch out for Calhanoglu. The Turkish has had the problem of continuity since he was in AC Milan, even before the lockdown he had had positive periods but without being able to confirm himself for many months in a row. After the lockdown, however, he exploded, making goals and assists in bursts. If this “Ibra effect” lasts, the performance is top.

SEMITOP – Milinkovic, de Paul, Vidal, Veretout, Mkhitaryan

The difference between top and semi top is not a lot. They too can be early choices, as everyone wants a top midfielder in the 8-10 team leagues at the auction. The ideal thing would be to taking them at less than 50 fantacredits out of 500.  Milinkovic does not come from a super season: despite the 7 goals scored, with the FM of 6.72 it is quite a lot below Kulusevski and Calhanoglu performances But Milinkovic is still Milinkovic, he is a strong and reliable midfielder and he is paid a lot at the auction. Veretout is a penalty taker, so he can score a lot. De Paul is a semi top at the auction and always plays his part when he takes the field. The Argentine is a penalty taker. Vidal is the news, Inter took him from Barcelona. Conte wanted him at all costs. He will be regular. in terms of price, we are around 40/50 fantacredits out of 500. Mkhitaryan last year scored 9 goals, almost like a striker.

MIDFIELDERS TAKING ADDS-ON – Pasalic, Miranchuk, Malinovskyi, Ramsey, Perisic, Kessié, Politano, Zaccagni, Nainggolan, Pessina, Barak

They are high-level midfielders who can score several goals but are not regular. The price will be high, we are talking about 20 Fanta credits out of 500. Pasalic may have less appeal than Malinovskyi and Miranchuk but the numbers speak for him, he scored 9 goals. He should not, therefore, be underestimated even if Gasperini sees him more as a defensive midfielder this year. Malinovskyi in the first season scored 8 goals. He can take penalties, free kicks, and corners, his only flaw is the few caps as a regular. Miranchuk comes from an important season in Russia with 16 goals and 5 assists in 32 caps, including the Champions League. He is an Ilicic or Malinovskyi type, that is, he can take penalties and free kicks, he has a great left-handed. From the eleven meters, he became a specialist in the last season with 7 goals out of 8 shots. Ramsey is a strong midfielder. The problem is precisely the injuries, which have harassed him in recent years. Pirlo likes it very much, if you take it you have to hope that it will be able to have continuity. Perisic is always an add-on taker and Conte considers him among his midfielders. He plays a little further back than when he was at his top when he made 10 goals and 10 assists.

EXCELLENT MIDFIELDERS – Chiesa, Pellegrini, Fabian Ruiz, Castrovilli, Locatelli, Djuricic

The price drops compared to the semi top, here there is to spend around 20-30 Fanta credits out of 500. They are ideal players as 2nd slot, which also becomes 1st in the league of 12 teams. Chiesa moved to Juve and remains a very good midfielder. He can play better and get more assists, taking fewer yellow cards (7 last year). Lorenzo Pellegrini has not yet completed his maturity and is a missed top player so far. Too few goals (only one last season) and a few too many injuries, even if it was super from the point of view of assists, 9. Thanks to the +1 add on its auction price remain quite high. Fabian Ruiz , like Pellegrini has not yet become a top player despite important skills, the adds on are still few. He must have more continuity of good performances. Castrovilli after the second half of the disappointing last season he is always a regular player and even a goal scorer. Locatelli is constantly growing, since last year. With a few more adds on he will become an important midfielder with good ratings.

GOOD REGULARS – Lazovic, Soriano, Kucka, Candreva, Bonaventura, Djuricic

They are 3-4th slot players who can go away at the auction at 10-15 fantacredits out of 500. These are regular players who perform well, with goals and assists. They are suggested players because they can bring 7-8 adds on between goals and assists. Lazovic more than goals (3) makes assists (7): great revelation in Verona last year, is always regular. Soriano is regular at Bologna, also for him a good rating with 5 goals scored. Kucka remained in Parma and is a penalty taker and last year he scored 6 goals. Candreva relaunched at Sampdoria will be regular and will do well, between goals and assists. Bonaventura has always been an add-on taker.

GOOD MIDFIELDERS – Arthur, Bentancur, Brozovic, Barella, Zielinski.

They are midfielders who play in big teams, can take advantage of the fact of winning many games. They are as 3-4 slot, while for the price we are around ten Fanta credits out of 500, with someone who even goes up to 15. Brozovic comes from a good season with three goals and an FM of 6.58, but this year it can lose some space. Zielinski comes from 2 goals and 3 assists last season: he can do more. Barella is a strong midfielder, a lot of 6.5 as rating and constant growth in recent months. Let’s move on to Juve where there are 2 many interesting midfielders: Arthur and Bentancur who are regulars.
