The top of the class
If until last year there were only 2 or 3 absolute top “finalizzatori”, now, with the farewell of Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku, respectively 29 and 24 goals of the last season, the forwards that during the previous year were considered just below the top, jump to the top.
Generally, and depending on the strategy of the fantasy coach, you should aim to have at least one TOP “department”, able to ensure an “avalanche” of goals; but there is also those who choose to take more Semi-top, having more choice in attack.
Ciro Immobile has been for some years in the top of the department and is the only one left, after the Portuguese and Belgian farewells. Last season he scored 20 goals in 35 games; this year he started very strongly and he has already scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists in only 6 games, also scoring a hat-trick against Spezia; The Italian striker does not seem to have suffered from the technical change on the bench (Sarri’s aarival) and this year he is running as absolute certainty in the attack.
Just below Immobile there is Inter’s striker Lautaro Martínez, who after the farewell of Lukaku has become the “spearhead” of the Nerazzurri attack and carries on his shoulders the load of the team; he has already scored 5 goals in 6 games and is the penalty designated by Simone Inzaghi; With penalties, the Argentine can certainly improve the score of the previous season, by 17 goals in 38 games.

For Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, this may be the season of consecration: the Neapolitan coach Luciano Spalletti is famous for performing their strikers very well and the Nigerian striker enjoys from the highest esteem of the coach; he has already scored 4 goals in 6 games and it will be up to him to drag his teammates in the ambitious race to the Scudetto.
Tammy Abraham, Dusan Vlahović and Paulo Dybala are the starting center-forwards of their respective teams; Roma’s striker has scored 2 goals in 7 games but has so far been very unlucky, having hit several “posts”. The “Tecnico” José Mourinho wanted him strongly in his project and certainly, with a little more luck, he will score more constantly for Roma he is fundamental.
The center forward of Fiorentina Dusan Vlahović is at the center of several rumors of the market, so he is a risk, because it would not be excluded a resounding farewell in January; in any case, the fact that for now he stays is a certainty. Already 4 goals in 7 games and he will be able to make many more; Fiorentina dreams big this season and needs the goals of the Serbian striker.

Paulo Dybala, after the farewell of Cristiano Ronaldo is back to be the “rigorista” of the team and the coach Massimiliano Allegri has high expectations of him. For the moment he has only 2 goals and 2 assists in 5 games, but we have to consider that Juventus had a rather disappointing start of the season; now the Bianconeri are back from 4 consecutive positive results and certainly will need the goals of the Argentine to climb the classification.
Luis Muriel experienced a surprising season last year, scoring 22 goals and providing 9 assists; the Colombian striker scored in the first day of Serie A against Torino, and then stopped due to an injury that kept him out of the field for several days. In the challenge against AC Milan he played 34 minutes, as a substitue and now he will try to return to the best physical condition: certainly, for these reasons, he will cost a little less than the top of the class mentioned before, but it can be taken this year.
The Semitop
Lorenzo Insigne and Domenico Berardi come from two important seasons; 19 goals for the first one and 17 for the second one last season. Both are penalty takers in their team and aim to confirm themselves at high levels, also because they are the main drivers of their respective teams. Both Napoli and Sassuolo have changed technical guidance, but both coaches prefer a proactive football and can confirm the levels of last season.
Zlatan Ibrahimović is going through a rather complicated start to the season; the Swedish striker had missed the first two days of Serie A due to an injury in May, but then returned on the third day, scoring the goal of 2-20 from the match against Lazio. Then a discomfort to the Achilles tendon, which did not allow him to take the field in the following matches. In any case, Zlatan wants to come back and he is working hard to help his teammates reach their seasonal goals; in auctions, he can go away with fewer credits compared than last year and he can be an important occasion: when Ibrahimović is at his best, he’s proven he can make the difference again.
Edin Dzeko, Duvan Zapata and Joao Pedro are having a great time. Inter’s striker is the current top scorer in Serie A with 6 goals in 7 games; as the days go by, you have to take into account that his performance may fall, but the Nerazzurri’s regular is him, along with Lautaro Martínez.

Duvan Zapata and Joao Pedro, respectively 15 and 16 goals in the last season, remain certainties for their attacks; also this year they can score the same number of goals and are good choices to be combined with a top of the role.
Excellent strikers
Among the excellent strikers are certainly Olivier Giroud, Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti. The first, especially if Ibrahimovic continues to have physical problems, is running for the starting position in the Rossoneri attack. Against Cagliari he scored a good double, then the Covid-19 and some physical problems stopped him; the Frenchman in his career has never been a real bomber, working so much for the team, but can certainly reach at least the double-figure in terms of goals.
Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti are excellent strikers, but they lack constancy; if on a day, they can do important performances, on the contrary, they can also receive a negative rating. Both can reach and exceed the double-digit, but must be joined to a Top or Semi-top striker to complete the attacking department.

Good strikers
Good strikers include Marko Arnautovic, Fabio Quagliarella, Francesco Caputo, Joaquin Correa and Ante Rebic. Arnautovic was strongly supported by the coach Sinisa Mihajlovic and is also the “rigorista” of Bologna; with 3 goals and 1 assist in 7 games is the main reference forward of the Rossoblù and returned to Italy to make the difference.
Quagliarella has unlocked himself in the match against Udinese thanks to a penalty, after 6 days in which he had strongly sought the way of the goal. Together with Francesco Caputo is the reference of the attack of Sampdoria and he has always made his goals, he can confirm at least the double-figure this year. Joaquin Correa and Ante Rebic are not always regulars, but they still find room to race in progress; they are assist and goal players and you can take them if they are not paid too much.
