Here we are, two more days to find out who among Inter, Milan, Atalanta and Napoli will be the Winter Champion. After a long head-to-head between the Rossoneri and the Neapolitans, the main favorite at the turning point would seem the team of Simone Inzaghi who in the next round, guest of Salernitana, they will try to win the 6th victory in a row. In San Siro instead, the team of Stefano Pioli will challenge the one of Luciano Spalletti: both the hosts, both Insigne and companions can not fail the appointment with the three points.
Much will depend on the opening match of Arechi: if Inter were to beat Salernitana, Napoli and Milan would have to score. In case of loss, one of the two would be arithmetically out of the “winter sprint”; the situation does not change in the event that the match of San Siro should end in a tie, the score in the standings would penalize Napoli, while to condemn the AC Milan would be the difference nets.
But beware of any surprises of the “last minute” and when we speak of surprises we refer especially to Atalanta. Gasperini’s line-up is back from 10 useful results in a row and has recovered a lot of ground in the standings on the opponents, overcoming Napoli and hooking the AC Milan to the 2nd place. La Dea is 3 points away from Inter, but in the weekend will have to deal with Roma: in case of knockout and simultaneous victory of Inter the Orobici would be excluded from any discussion. It will be needed a double success from here to the end of the first leg, but it may not be enough for the winter title. So fate is in the hands of Inter.

Thanks to the success of Cagliari last day and the missteps of Milan and Napoli, respectively against Udinese and Empoli, Inter is the main favorite for the title in winter. If successful against Salernitana could further mortgage the mid-season milestone. For a possible new upheaval of the ranking Milan, Napoli and Atalanta will have to hope for a slip of the formation of Simone Inzaghi.
