Turin, Izzo: “Juric is a tough coach”

Armando Izzo, Torino defender, was interviewed in the mixed zone after the match against Apoel. He talked about various topics including, Juric’s way of coaching and upcoming seasonal goals. Here are the words of the Campano defender:

On the injury remedied today:

Nothing serious, I took a blow but I’m fine and can’t wait to train. It was a hard-fought match, the coach changed the whole team. It was a useful test for putting minutes in the legs. Captain’s armband? It’s my fifth year here, I’m proud. I thank the coach and teammates for the opportunity, I’m happy ”.

About the group:

We are a very young group, I always try to help them and make them feel at ease. It is important to create a good group and a good environment. I always try to make my teammates smile, so great groups are created and great victories are made. I am available to everyone. We are a young group, some are shy but there are very good guys. We must continue like this ”.

About Juric:

I know Juric from Genoa, he’s a tough guy and he’s good for us. Working hard makes you feel good on Sundays. Those who play and those who don’t play, we still have an identity: it means that the coach can trust everyone. You have to stay calm and take advantage of the opportunities. In defense we must always be careful, the coach wants us to play early and recover the ball forward. I miss my family, but in two days I’ll be back home ”.
