ITALY PANDEV MACEDONIA – Goran Pandev, Parma striker, made some statements, to the microphones of ‘Radio1 Rai’, returning to the victory of Macedonia against Italy. Here is what was stated.
Italy, Pandev: “For me it’s like a second home, I warned you about Macedonia”
“Italy is a second home for me, my children were born here, I feel half Italian, but in that match obviously I cheered for Macedonia. Italian friends told me it was an easy match, that Italy would score 4 or 5 goals and prepare for the play-off final. About two months have passed since Italy’s defeat against Macedonia. The Azzurri will not participate in the World Cup for eight consecutive years.
